We are a small Nova Scotia company doing custom traditional timber framing, dovetail log building and custom timber structures.
Richard Cormier is a skilled and conscientious craftsman. His skills, honed by years of experience working for a variety of timber frame and log builders as well as in his own business, are matched by a fine creative and aesthetic sense.
We only
take on one job at a time and finish it before we start another. That
way we are totally focused on you and your project.
We tackle projects large and small. On the larger end, we build:
- full house timber frames,
- timber frame cottages and log cabins,
- hybrid timber frames,
- timber frames for straw bale houses.
On the smaller end, we build:
We have an extensive inventory of seasoned timbers on hand. Our inventory gives us a great advantage when tackling a new project.
We use local sawmills for supply, and work with local engineering and design firms who specialize in timber framing.
Forming a team with architects, engineers, general contractors and designers, we believe in good communication from the start to avoid problems later.
All the work is pre-fabricated and finished in our shop and shipped throughout the Maritimes and afar. We erect all of our work on your site.
