22' x 38' timber frame cottage

This was designed with baby boomers in mind, as a place in which families can come together for special occasions.

There are two bedrooms on the main floor and two large rooms on the second floor with a timbered bridge to join them.

One upper floor room has the option of a walk-out balcony supported by heavy timber brackets. The parents could stay in one end while the kids scoot across the bridge to their room. Meanwhile the grandparents are on the main floor.

With a relaxing covered porch and a potential deck off the dining room, there are plenty of places for privacy.

The vaulted ceiling in the dining room provides a wonderful atmosphere for Thanksgiving meals.

A mudroom hosts a washer and dryer while a bathroom and breakfast nook off the kitchen round out this meeting place.
