Timber lamp posts

Designed to match the pergola

To compliment the Vinyard Pergola, three timber lamp posts were custom built. They have the same end details as the pergola.

Our large hole saw makes short work of accommodating the light fixture box.  A groove up the back of the posts, covered with a strip of wood, houses the wire.  It is easy to access for any future maintenance.

The wood is hemlock, sanded and given two coats of stain.  The lampposts are securely held with our metal boots in concrete piers.

Impel rods were placed near the bottoms of all posts on the pergola and lamp posts for longevity.
