Two rooms in Greenwich, NS, house enhanced with custom timber trusses

Two white pine king post trusses rest over a custom Dutch Elm dining room table (right). Straightforward clean lines with a dutch tenon making its way through the bottom chord.

Below: The kitchen hosts two trestle-like trusses. The short horizontal beams not only create a nice grid above but structurally prevent the vertical walls from moving laterally, and support a loft-like bedroom above.
