Another good example of how one can sprinkle timberframing throughout the house.

(a) Interior trusses in master bedroom

The interior trusses spanned over 17 feet. Large double curved knee braces, strong revealed oak spline and embellished king post pendant speak craftsmanship on these trusses.

The three gems will grace the master bedroom on the first floor off the kitchen and dining area.

Sansin interior clear satin was used for finish.

(b) Exterior truss

The exterior truss has the same features as the interior truss, except that the span was five feet wider at 22’.

Hemlock was chosen to combat the elements.  This magnificent truss sits 4’ out past the gable end on two custom timber brackets fastened to the wall with engineered lag bolts.

One call to Sansin, and Sam Sorensen custom matched the grey of the exterior shingles.  Two coats of stain were applied, then one topcoat of UV protector.
