70-ft fence with arbour and custom gate

The clients had a corner lot and wanted more privacy for the backyard.

This custom timber fence is 70 feet long, and includes a walk-through arbour with custom gate hardware. The custom latch allows one to open the gate from both sides.

Ornate post tops, crested top railings and an open-faced slot on the bottom rail allow water to drain easily. 

Custom metal boots on post bottoms, hemlock timbers and slats ensure longevity.

All pieces were sanded and two coats of Sansin Blue Ridge Grey stain were applied in our shop before being assembled on-site.
