While we were in the mood for dressing up our 1867 property, we decided to add a timber frame fence.  The challenge was not to make a high fence for privacy, but rather to add charm to the existing property. 

The fence really dressed up the area around the shop.

Features of the fence include juniper timbers that have been seasoned for two years, graceful finials on top of the posts, custom metal boots attaching posts to piers and an aged patina using Lifetime Crystals (a brand name preservative) which makes the fence looks as if it has been there for 100 years!
