Bring your dreams to be crafted from our seasoned timbers by the experienced and conscientious hands of timber framer, log builder and chip carving artist Richard Cormier.

We are a small Nova Scotia company doing custom traditional timber framing.

We only take on one job at a time and finish it before we start another. That way we are totally focused on you and your project.

We offer full house timber frames, timber frame cottages and log cabins, hybrid timber frames, pavillions and custom fences, and timber frames for straw bale houses, for starters.

Having an inventory of seasoned timbers on hand gives us a great advantage. We use local sawmills for supply, and work with local engineering and design firms who specialize in timber framing. Forming a team with architects, engineers, general contractors and designers, we believe in good communication from the start to avoid problems later.

All the work is pre-fabricated and finished in our shop and shipped throughout the Maritimes and afar. We erect all of our work on your site.

We love what we do, and have created an incredible workshop to do it in.

Enjoy a cup of tea under our pavillion for a relaxed informal first meeting. It will give us a sense of what your needs are and you should leave with a clear picture of the process of timber framing. A scheduled tour of several local jobs will give you a first hand look and feel what we can do for you.
